Programs

  

We offer Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Ceramics, Fashion Design, Watercolors and Jewelry.   Several mediums are also offered within those areas.

Children's Program.    Classes are scheduled after school from 2:00 - 7:00 PM 

Children's development in art is greatly associated to hand dexterity and fine/ gross motor skills.    Sometimes these skills are not proportional to their intellectual and emotional development.    Practicing art  greatly refine and improves your child's ability to understand and relate concepts, builds self esteem, hand dexterity and develops disciplines that will make him/her a better, more receptive student in all other learning experiences.   Art is a tool for success.

Portfolio Program.    The Portfolio Program prepares and guides middle school students in creating a significant porfolio that will help with admission to local High Schools and special art centers, like HSPVA. 

The Art House Portfolio Program for high school students is credited with great success in obtaining admission for it's partidipants in major art programs at the finest art  institutions in the US and abroad.  Like The Art Institute of Chicago, Syracuse University, RISD, Boston College, Savanah College and SACI in Florence, Italy...just to mention a few.

With our program we can help students complete and refine their portfolios, strengthen their techniques prepare them to excel in entrance examinations and visual presentations and succeed in the school of their choice.

 

  • Adult Program

    The Art House adult's program offers opportunities for every one interested in learning art.    Weather it is for their own pleasure, decorating their homes, or starting an art career, we can provide the venue to accomplish your goals.

    1. Basic technical courses in drawing and painting provide the needed structure to pursue higher level classes and studio courses. 
    2. Step by step guidance and instruction.
    3. Beginner, Intermediate and  Advanced levels training.
